Using a quiver full of tools to create the path and light your way an excellent coach will assist you to hit your target. Roger has a proven track record of hitting the target every time. ”
How does it work?
Neurolingistic programming for fear and anxiety isn’t about looking into the root causes of your anxieties. Sessions aren’t focussed on the bad stuff, instead they are focussed on times where you’ve shown strength and the skills to achieve seemingly impossible feats.
By setting clear goals you can be guided down the path to them, and with a mentor by your side, you’ll see the progress you make, the coping mechanisms you’ve put in place and the limitless potential to what you can achieve.
What can you achieve with NLP?
There is so much you can do once you learn to control your anxiety and turn it into a positive driver. By tapping into your innermost self you’ll be able to equip yourself with tools that will allow you to meet any situation with confidence. Depending on your goals you will be able to:
- Speak in front of a large crowd
- Input your thoughts on group projects
- Negotiate a salary or promotion at work
- Build resilience to help you overcome setbacks
- Shoot beyond your potential and remove obstacles
- Learn tools to replicate one success to all challenges
Mentoring with Roger Southam
Roger is a renowned mentor, offering everything from career coaching to NLP for fear and anxiety. After being introduced to neurolingistic programming in 2008, Roger was inspired by the framework and its focus on the power of words. Wanting to find out more about how NLP could help transform others’ lives, he studied one-on-one with fellow life and business coach Michael Breen.
Unlike some traditional mentoring, Roger doesn’t see himself as an advisor. His reluctance to give everyone the ‘answers’ ensures that change comes from within his clients. Those that are able to look inwardly for the strength to overcome their fears and anxieties go on to find the freedom they desire, without dependency on another.
Testimonials What our clients say about our service
Roger Southam made me see that I was making a big general problem from a small specific issue. Making me laugh at it was brilliant. Identification of resources was excellent and to the point. It is easy sitting with him and very comfortable looking at these things. The conclusion and next step was easy and obvious. If we hadn’t done the session I would be where we started. A big thank you.
I came to Roger with an issue. I had just walked out of a high-profile position with a very successful firm after a week’s work. After the week at work, I was left with a gamut of emotions including confusion, embarrassment, failure, uncertainty, shame but somehow, relief. I had several options: to go back and give them another go, to walk completely away or to begin the (often) lengthy process of finding another position. In less than three hours Roger enabled me to stop my self-chastisement and get some clarity around the issues and the decision I had to make. We went through a number of processes that allowed me to see why I had walked away, what the real crux of the problem was and what the next steps were.
I liked Roger Southam’s tenacity and direction. When he asked me to make a visual representation of my vision I realised that was what had been missing, and I got it. I appreciate his humour and presence. Thank you. FANTASTIC.
I have known Roger for a number of years and have always admired his energy, tenacity and ability to ‘think outside the box’. Having recently established a new business I came to Roger to seek advice on a number of issues. He very quickly made me realise that the problems really only existed in my own mind and that by focusing too much on the detail I had lost perspective of the bigger picture. Encouraging me to approach problems with an open mind really gave me clarity. Roger’s intuitive and informal style not only helped resolve these specific issues but has also left me with the confidence to be more decisive in the future
A friend recommended that I speak with Roger as I’d experienced a loss of confidence. The firm I worked for had gone into liquidation and I was suddenly directionless, needing to find a new job but with a growing sense of self-doubt. The idea of facing interviews at that stage was appalling. Roger helped me to put everything into perspective and to draw on past experiences and successes, reminding me of both my confidence and competitiveness. The was invaluable and well spent – now not only do I have a plan hoping forward I also have the resources to help with any future issues.
Going through a very tough time at work made me question my whole ability and what I’d actually achieved over the past 20 years. Roger dissolved those doubts in minutes and showed me how to get what I wanted in simple steps. The obstacles I had created were in fact not obstacles at all. Without Roger’s help I would have gone and hidden in a corner somewhere. Now I know I’ll do better than I’ve ever done before.
